361 The Malawi Gazette Supplement, dated 10th December, 2021, containing Regulations, Rules, etc. (No. 34A) GOVERNMENT NOTICE NO. 61 ATOMIC ENERGY ACT (CAP. 61:03) ATOMIC ENERGY (AMENDMENT) REGULATIONS, 2021 IN EXERCISE of the powers conferred by section 82 of the Atomic Energy Act, I, NANCY TEMBO, Minister of Forestry and Natural Resources, on recommendation of the Atomic Energy Regulatory Authority, make the following Regulations— Citation 1. These Regulations may be cited as the Atomic Energy (Amendment) Regulations, 2021. Amendment of r. 14 of Cap. 61:03 sub-leg. p. 41 2. The Atomic Energy Regulations (hereinafter referred to as the principal Regulations) are amended in regulation 14 by— (a) deleting subregulation (2) and substituting therefor the following new subregulation— “(2) An applicant or a licensee, as the case may be, shall pay the applicable fees prescribed under the Atomic Energy (Fees) Regulations.”; and (b) deleting subregulation (3). Amendment of r. 17 of the principal Regulations 3. The principal Regulations are amended in regulation 17 (1) by deleting the words “in the Fifth Schedule” and substituting therefor the words “under the Atomic Energy (Fees) Regulations”. Amendment of r. 64 of the principal Regulations 4. The principal Regulations are amended in regulation 64 (1) by deleting the words “in the Fifth Schedule” and substituting therefor the words “under the Atomic Energy (Fees) Regulations”.
