Summary

In the study, participants are given different information about the reliability of people when detecting emergencies. They are also given information about the reliability of symptom checkers. We investigate how behavioral trust changes and which representations users build from the given information. We distinguish between verbatim and gist information (according to fuzzy trace theory).
