Summary

Current public guidelines recommend at least 30 minutes of daily moderate-intensity exercise. Nevertheless, morbid obese patients find it arduous to exercise because of many barriers such as poor quality of life and join pain. Although high intensity interval training (HIIT) has been shown to be a time effective alternative compared to traditional training programs, it could be intolerable for morbid obese patients. The present study aimed to examine and compare the acute effects of HIIT versus moderate intensity interval training (MIIT) on biochemical markers of inflammation,cellular damage, cardiovascular and perceptual responses in obese adults
