Summary
Non specific neck pain (NsNP) refers to neck pain with or without radiation whose underlying cause cannot be traced to a specific systemic disease. pain is the most prominent symptom of NsNP and the most important determinant of disability. pain affects different aspects of life including the physical and psychosocial aspects (fear of movement and quality of life). studies have reported lower isometric strength of cervical flexors and extensor muscles of chronic neck pain patients. alterations in dynamic scapular stabilization has also been reported in the literature. Exercise is one of the most frequently used modality in the management of neck pain. studies that investigate the effect of scapula stabilization exercise on NsNP are scarce. This study propose to investigate the effect of scapular stabilization exercise on neck pain and to compare the effect of neck versus scapula stabilization exercise on clinical and psychosocial variables of individuals with non specific neck pain
