- Absorbable Sutures: HINGLACT sutures are indicated for use in general soft tissue approximation especially for use in general surgery, skin closure, gastrointestinal surgery, gynaecology, obstetrics, plastic surgery, urology and orthopaedics. HINGLACT is not indicated for use in cardiovascular and neurological tissue approximation including use in ophthalmic surgery, peripheral nerve anastomosis and microsurgery for vessels less than 2 mm diameter . HINGLACT Rapidsorb sutures are indicated for use in general soft tissue approximation where only short term wound support is required and rapid absorption of the suture is beneficial. It is useful for skin closure, particularly in paediatric surgery, episiotomies, circumcision and closure of oral mucosa. HINCRYL sutures are indicated for use in general soft tissue approximation especially for use in general surgery, skin closure, gastrointestinal surgery, gynaecology, obstetrics, plastic surgery, urology, orthopaedics. It is not indicated for cardiovascular and neurological tissue approximation. HINOCRYL sutures are generally used for soft-tissue approximation and ligation but not for use in cardiovascular or neurological tissues, microsurgery or ophthalmic surgery. It is used frequently for subtcuticular dermis closures of the face. HIDOX sutures are indicated for use in general soft tissue approximation. These sutures are particularly useful where the combination of an absorbable suture and extended wound support (Absorbable and Non-absorbable) is desirable.HIDOX is not indicated for use in cardiovascular tissue, microsurgery and neurological tissue approximation. Non-absorbable Sutures: HINSURG sutures are indicated for use in general soft tissue approximation and/or ligation. HISIL sutures are indicated for use in general soft tissue approximation and or ligation. It is not indicated for tissue approximation in the presence of infection. HILON sutures are indicated for use in general soft tissue approximation and or ligation. HINBOND suture is indicated for use in general soft tissue approximation and /or ligation, including use in orthopaedic surgery.
