Philips Wearable Biosensor

The Biosensor is a wireless remote sensing device intended for use by healthcare professionals for continuous collection of a patient’s physiological data in home and healthcare settings. This data can include: • Heart Rate • Electrocardiography (ECG) • Skin Temperature • R-R Interval • Respiratory Rate • Patient Activity (including step count) • Posture (body position relative to gravity includingfall detection) • Fall Detection Patient data is transmitted via wireless communication from the Biosensor to its Relay, which transmits the data to a secure server for storage and analysis. The Biosensor is intended for use on general care patients who are 18 years of age or older as a general patient monitor, to provide physiological information. Data from the Biosensor is intended for use by healthcare professionals as an aid to patient diagnosis and treatment.
