The ACUSON P500 ultrasound imaging system is used for the following applications: Fetal applications, Abdominal (including the liver), Pediatric, Small parts, Transrectal, Gynecological (useful for the visualization of the ovaries, ovarian cysts, uterus and other pelvic structures), Pelvis, Newborn, Heart, Intra-cardiac, Blood vessels (including peripheral vessels), Musculoskeletal, Musculoskeletal at depth, and Genitourinary. The system also has the capability to measure anatomic structures {fetus, abdomen, small organs, transrectal, transvaginal, cardiovascular, peripheral vessels, musculoskeletal (normal) and musculoskeletal (at depth)} and the calculated packages of information that provide the clinical physician with information that can be used in conjunction with the medical data that the physician obtains for clinical diagnostic purposes.
