Iron2 testing is used to support the diagnosis and treatment of conditions such as iron deficiency anemia, and disorders of iron metabolism (a condition associated with the widespread accumulation of two iron-containing pigments in the tissues, hemosiderin and hemofuscin, and manifested by the coloration of the skin), and chronic kidney disease.
