Food and Drugs Act
Parent statute of the Canadian medical-device regime: the Food and Drugs Act defines "device" (s. 2) and establishes the offences, inspection, and regulation-making powers (s. 30) under which the Medical Devices Regulations (SOR/98-282) are made.
