This study aims to investigate continuous glucose monitoring (CGM) metrics’ association with perioperative dysglycaemia and perioperative complications in patients with insulin-dependent diabetes undergoing elective cardiac surgery. The current pilot study aims to establish feasibility for a larger study in the future. The primary end points will be feasibility parameters, including the number of eligible patients at each study site, the consent rate, and the rate of patients successfully completing the study.
