Ministry of Health Order 148 of 18 April 2005 cancels Order 50 of 9 February 2005 and STO 85-07.0009:2005 and approves recommendations Р 85-07.0010:2005 for quality assurance in rational medical-equipment use. The recommendations apply to healthcare organisations directly subordinate to the Ministry and expressly exclude private medical practice. They address equipment and reagent selection, procurement, incoming checks, maintenance, storage, transport, records, monitoring and audits, with illustrative forms and job descriptions.
