Atomic Energy (Fees) (Amendment) Regulations, 2024
Complete four-page original Gazette instrument, printed pages 53–56 in Supplement No8A, made on 4 March 2024, published on 22 March and expressly effective from 1 April 2024. Regulation 2 replaces the entire Schedule to GN62/2021, not the whole parent. All ten categories, 74 amount rows and the radiation-emitting-device import formula are retained, with all four original page images. Medical rows include X-ray, mammography, fluoroscopy, CT, C-Arm, PET/CT and radiotherapy; other sections cover industrial/NORM practices, service providers including medical equipment suppliers and maintenance, inspections, transport, monitoring, dosimetry, imports and exports. Item9 charges one and half percent of the stated CIF value for import of radiation-emitting devices; this must not be generalized to every medical device or to a variation filing. Original overlapping source-count bands, unit lettering, grammatical inconsistencies and scrap mental wording are preserved. The cross-page item3(d) remains complete with its amount on the following page. Licence/service validity periods are not application review deadlines. The complete dated amendment is retained, while subsequent amendments and current operational applicability remain under review; it is excluded from default current discovery until that review is resolved.
