About this regulation

Pharmacy and Medicines Regulatory Authority (Fees and Forms) Regulations, 2022

Complete original Gazette instrument: all four regulations, the entire original First Schedule and all 25 Second Schedule forms, through the ministerial making clause of 8 April 2022 and Government Printer terminal line. All 46 operative pages were visually transcribed and retained as original page images; the final two physical pages are blank. Regulation 3 defines retention-fee surcharges by the Authority’s financial year. Form 9, on physical pages 18–21, concerns medical-device wholesaler licensing, with all eleven supply categories, competency/storage/maintenance fields and six general instructions. The original MEDICINE DEVICE heading, Form 8 No. 19 of 2019 misprint, erroneous 2016 page header and other printed field inconsistencies are preserved. The medicine-focused Form 23 is not automatically a general standalone-device registration form. GN 27/2026 expressly replaces the First Schedule from 1 April 2026; the 2022 fees are historical and must not be used as current charges. That amendment does not replace the whole parent or its Second Schedule. Currentness remains under review pending later amendments, form updates and product-specific implementation; this dated original is excluded from default current discovery but remains directly readable. Publication is 8 April 2022; no exact commencement date is inferred. The original government Gazette is supplied through the Gazettes Africa legal archive.
